Eli Brown
Eli Brown
An artist bringing a singular vision to the world of electronic music, Eli Brown has brought a visceral
energy to club sonics ever since his emergence on the scene in 2016. Coming up in Bristol’s famed
dance community, Brown’s production style captures the raw atmospherics of his homeland’s icons. His
innovative approach to club sounds roots itself in the sinister; placing the listener in the darkest sonic
recesses before throwing them onto the dancefloor at breakneck speed. This sound has helped him rise
to prominence, rapidly gaining support from the likes of Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Charlotte De Witte, Patrick
Topping, Alan Fitzpatrick, Solomun, Reinier Zonneveld and more. Following a plethora of releases for the
likes of Skream’ Of Unsound Mind, Adam Beyer’s Truesoul & Alan Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave, Eli’s
talents in the studio peaked the interest of dance music royalty Calvin Harris. The pair have notched x2
collaborations for Harris’ Love Regenerator project, certifying Eli Brown as undeniably, one of the most
highly coveted producers in dance music today. However, Eli Brown’s penchant for dark and subversive
sonics doesn’t stop with his productions. Arcane, his own label, was created in 2020 as a vessel to
support new upcoming talent who deal in the brooding, hard-edged house and techno that inspires his
own work.
Thanks to a 2020 largely spent inside, Brown’s music has far from reached its stadium-filling potential.
Fresh from a newly inked partnership with Polydor Records, Eli Brown’s time off the road had allowed him
to fully explore the furthest reaches of his own creative vision. His first release as part of this partnership,
‘Killer’, was his third ‘Hottest Record in the World’ from Annie Mac. Not stopping there, Eli Brown further
pushed his creative boundaries with the launch of his second record on Arcane, ‘Fading To Black’, which
stormed the techno charts and had previously destroyed dancefloors across the globe, from EDC Mexico
to Treehouse Miami to Motion in his hometown Bristol.
There’s perhaps no better example of Eli Brown’s strive to innovate and experiment than his follow up
release on Polydor. Eli teamed up with South London’s new wave punk band Talk Show to deliver
‘Trouble’, a high octane cut of punk inspired techno. Realising his talents as one of the most in-demand
techno producers of 2021, Eli Brown was honoured by Factory 93 to launch their all new label with his
three track Escape EP. Accompanied by a mouthwatering livestream at London’s premier venue
Printworks, the release was a great success and still claims the 1st, 2nd & 6th best selling tracks on
Beatport in the label’s history!
The releases kept coming thick and fast as Brown endeavoured to make the most of his downtime,
notching a debut release on Nora En Pure’s Purified imprint before another collaboration on Calvin Harris’
Love Regenerator project entitled ‘We Can Come Together’ which quickly became Radio 1’s Hottest
Record In The World, Eli Brown’s 4th to date! Amongst the heisteria of his second Love Regenerator
collab, Brown launched his Unlocked World Tour as he broke the shackles from a year and a half out of
action. The tour boasted shows at some of the biggest festivals and clubs in the world including EDC
Vegas, EDC Orlando, Printworks, Wonderland & Creamfields to name a few.
Relentlessly charging on, Eli Brown was then welcomed back to Alan Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave
imprint for his second release before signing off 2021 with his highly anticipated Send Help EP. The EP
was a massive success, picking up support from Patrick Topping, Solardo, Solomun & more, with title
track ‘Send Help’ singled out as one of the hottest releases doing the rounds at the end of a turbulent
year.
Stepping into 2022, Eli Brown made further bold strides in cementing his reputation as a highly esteemed
figure of the techno community with the announcement of ‘Believe’, his debut release on Reinier
Zonneveld’s Filth On Acid label. The release was an instant hit, claiming the number 1 Techno spot on
Beatport in a matter of days.
A raw and caustic talent with a widescreen imagination that spans audio and visual, Eli Brown will
continue to cement his reputation as one of dance music’s most subversive and forward thinking producer
& DJ over the next 12 months and beyond.
